The power line if given the go-ahead would destroy the historic battlefield of Sherriffmuir near Stirling and ruin miles upon miles of beautiful countryside.<br /><br />The enquiry has cost, so far, £10,000,000.<br /><br />What is the most interesting for me is the fact that battlesites like Culloden will never be allowed to be developed over due to the graves of the men who died.
